What is provided?


  • Master list that members are required to request titles from. Bookclub kits are provided with 10 titles per kit for a loan period of 4 weeks, this does not include postage time

  • Bound discussion notes with South West Zone Bookclub Co-operative brand or electronic notes that can be reproduced by receiveing library with their specific logos

  • A calendar and schedule which provides a guide to what titles each borrowing library or organisation will receive and where each borrowing library or organisation sends kits on to with contact details provided

  • Guidelines and Bookclub co-operative poilcy

  • Electronic newsletter produced quarterly

  • Kits are provided in good condition

  • Assistance in operating bookclubs if required.

Conditions of Use


  • Libraries and organisations that would like to join the co-operative are required to pay an administration fee.

  • Libraries and organisations are welcome and encouraged to add kits to the collection, allowing the collection to grow. Libraries and organisations that choose to join are required to sign a formal agreement which is developed in conjunction with the south west zone bookclub co-operative policy.

Administration


  • A schedule is developed at the end of each calendar year

  • Schedule is subject to change if required by members

  • South West Zone Bookclub Co-operative co-ordinator is required to maintain appropriate records

  • The South West Zone Bookclub co-operative co-ordinator is required to process kits, replace discussion notes, develop and maintain postage and loan schedule, also including the maintenance and enhancement of the South West Zone bookclub co-operative collection in an efficient manner
