The Hume Building Sociey Homework and Training Centre (Suzy) is owned and operated by Upper Murray Regional Library (UMRL)

A partnership between Upper Murray Regional Library and the Hume Building Society has provided the ongoing sustainability of a mobile technology centre fitted out with the latest in technology to provide access to mainstream library and information services to the disadvantaged youth of our region by taking the service to them.

Features and Equipment


The Hume Building Society Homework and Training Centre is fitted with:

  • 7 laptops - all computers will have internet access (next G data connection) and Microsoft Office software.

  • Large LCD screen connected to laptop network

  • Network printer

  • 6 fold down desks plus trainer's desk

  • Office chairs

  • Coffee and tea making facilities

  • Plenty of noticeboards

  • Storage cupboards

The truck is airconditioned and has it's own generator which enables it to stop anywhere it is needed and be fully functional.

Bookings


The truck is supplied with a driver and is available for one-off and regular bookings for a moderate fee.
