How to obtain your Library Card
Sign-up for your Library Card and get full access to all library services, including the ability to check out books, audiobooks, DVDs and renew them online.
You can join by visiting any UMRL branch and providing personal details, identification and proof of your current home address (eg driver's licence).
If you are under 18 a parent or guardian must sign the application form.
Place your holds via Online
Search the Catalog and Place Holds
Place your holds from home and get email notification for pick-up. Ask your branch librarian if you need help with this service.
Pick-up and check-out your items at the library location you choose.

If you would like to save some time you can download the Membership Form and fill it in before you visit.

Things to know...
Borrowing period is for two weeks.
You may borrow or return items at all UMRL Libraries.
It is your responsibility to notify the library if your card is lost or stolen, or you change your address.
The library policies are available for reference at all branches.
